Wasn't it last month he said he couldn't afford raising the old age pension because of inflation and now this? Get your story strait JT. I understand why he is doing this because the NDP want it and it will break PP filibuster over bullshit documents but the optics of this, once people sober up, are not great.

To be fair, raising pensions is forever, while a Gouge and Screw Tax break is only 2 months.
Perhaps he's hoping an election comes in the spring.
