Not surprising. Most of Jagmeets' list is accomplished. He can't be soft on unions, so he can use the end of the agreement for more concessions ongoing. Especially if PP leads the polls.

Right, he got what he signed up for. And it seems that the liberals were caught unaware but not JT. Which is right on brand for a party that has centralized all their power in the pmo office.
So now the next big issue is the get over the bi-elections and then fund raise like crazy before the writ drops cuz the coffers are EMPTY. If ever there was a David vs Goliath fight for the NDP this is it. Will Canada side with a charlatan that gas lights the public every chance he gets so he can look like the change candidate or stick with the current incumbent who has a track record of pandering and virtue signaling and has created the current toxic political climate or go for the guy with the turban?
Bad, worse and horrible choices. None with any scruples that are in proximity to power. None are likable. We lucked out last time with a minority so the NDP could at least hold the liberals on a leash from their more horrible corporate lapdog tendencies but that only goes so far. I can see a lot of people just not voting at all.

In the last Federal election the NDP spent more cash than ever to get elected and they lost seats. Jagmeet is toast as leader of the NDP if he loses more seats in the upcoming election. Canada will never elect a Sikh lawyer as the next PM.
I'll be curious to see what JT does in the next few weeks.

This is a hail mary from Jag and it looks like he fumbled.
