Russia will be defeated. The economy will collapse the only question is will the US collapse happen before. Ukraine is barely holding on and a withdrawal in disorder is very possible in the near future. Russia ability to exploit such a collapse is questionable as they can't even keep the lights on in Moscow and St Petersburg.
