What can be said - thank you, General, all the same.
We weren’t wrong about the values and the basic common sense we believed you would defend when it came to Ukraine and the war, but alas.
It is what it is.
Unfortunately, far too much power in this matter now rests with people on both sides of the front line who embody the darkest traits of human nature.
But this is only one of many trials Ukraine will have to overcome to reach what you tried to explain to Donald Trump and what he refused to hear.
