TLDR he can't and won't change. He was elected leader because of that and can't change his spots. He will win the leadership again because he has stacked the deck with loyalists and even then it will be a squeaker. That is not an endorsement of him but an indictment of the inertia within the CPP that has failed to look inward and address core faults.
