Ya, not sold on EU membership. Too many downsides besides why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? We already are looped in to their military contracts. We have trade deals already, just ramp them up.

We don't have to enter the EU as a member to trade with them.

One example I read was we can get bottles of 600 painkillers. Not allowed in the EU, 150 per bottle max, because the EU doesn't want you poisoning yourself. But it takes 8 pills too quickly to die.

The EU does not assume citizens are adults. But if they want to buy our softwood and sell us Stilton cheese, I am in.
