The "put up or shut up" challenge will only show they like Trudeau's policies more than they like Poilievre's. But Tories still won't figure that out.

PP doesn't have a chance. Blanchette has told him to fuck off, so only conservatives will vote with him.

For now. The Bloc sees this as trading the devil for the witch so they are not inclined to jump to PP's tune. Besides, having JT over a barrel why would they give that up? Same with the NDP but the NDP now need to prove themselves nationally and their numbers are still in the toilet and they have almost no money.

The floor has given out for the Liberals and they can very easily see their numbers drop even further is they do not change course. The populaism for PP has him riding high but he also has a ceiling he can't breach either for as much as Canadians are sick of JT they also can't stand the same virtue signalling in reverse done by pp and will not support a party lead by him. PP has consolidated his base to the point that the PPC is now irrevocably irrelevant for the next election but unless he can get Bloc voters to cross the isle he has no path to get more seats that he needs for a majority.

Quebec is lost and they have NOWHERE to go. Very bleak outlook for the Liberals as no seat is safe now. Their only play is to eat into the NDP vote and at this point that looks to be an act of cannibalization. I have no idea what play JT has here. He can say he isn't stepping down but what play does he have here? We are looking at Ignatieff level of implosion here.

Look, both the Bloc and the NDP can squeeze a few favours from the Liberals, both absolutely loathe and know for a fact they'd get nothing from the Tories.
That's why PP is avoiding that simple fact and doubling down on his 'only there to prop up Trudeau' BS. With no policies of their own and not even an improvement or alternative to add to so much as a single Liberal program, that's all he's got. Them BAD we GOOD. Just ignore past Tory history....
