Re: Danielle Smith's Ridiculous Fight Against Canada
Something did come out of this. here were over 3 million names on the voters list/
They say over 300,000 signed the separation referendum.
So support for the cause looks to be about 10% not the 30 the traitors are touting.

Re: Danielle Smith's Ridiculous Fight Against Canada
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith granted security clearance for CSIS briefings
What happened
Danielle Smith’s office confirmed that she has been granted top‑secret security clearance so she can receive classified CSIS briefings on national‑security issues, including foreign interference.
Her press secretary stated that the clearance specifically enables her to be briefed on national‑security threats affecting Alberta, something Smith has publicly pushed for since March. She had complained that the RCMP was not providing her government with sufficient information, prompting her to seek direct access through CSIS channels.
Why she sought the clearance
Smith said she wanted to understand any foreign interference attempts in the province, especially after reports that foreign actors—including Kremlin‑aligned networks—were amplifying disinformation around Alberta’s separatist movement.
She argued that Alberta had “deficiencies” in how it was being briefed and that she wanted to “fill them.”
How the process works
Security clearances for provincial officials are issued by the Privy Council Office (PCO) in Ottawa, not by CSIS itself. The PCO said earlier this year that expanding classified information‑sharing with provinces would strengthen Canada’s resilience against national‑security threats.
A secure room has already been built inside the Alberta Legislature so Smith can receive classified briefings—this was a condition of her approval.
Who else is applying
Alberta’s Deputy Premier and Public Safety Minister Mike Ellis has also applied for the same top‑secret clearance and says he is currently moving through the multi‑stage vetting process.
Political context
A recent report from Canadian disinformation‑tracking groups found that Alberta’s independence movement has been targeted by foreign entities in Russia and the U.S., attempting to amplify division.
The RCMP, however, told the legislature that they have seen no credible evidence of foreign interference within the separatist movement so far.
Opposition Leader Naheed Nenshi said he sees no need for an opposition leader to seek such clearance.

She's gonna find out how many American dollars are behind the referendum push.
And toe the line it's China and India that are the main threat to Canada.
