No one is making money in AI. Nobody.

As a bonus, the drive to build data centres has chokes the supply of PC hardware so badly that many PC manufacturers are down 80 - 90 % in sales. The AI bubble may have more casualties other than AI.

Commencement Backlash: At multiple universities, including Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Central Florida, speakers were met with audible disapproval when discussing the benefits of AI (0:42 - 2:47).
Real-World Concerns: The host outlines several reasons for this hostility, including job displacement, the massive environmental and energy costs of data centers, and the strain on natural resources like water (3:40 - 7:55).
Operational Failures: The video highlights a specific incident at Glendale Community College in Arizona, where an AI-powered system failed to read students' names correctly during their graduation ceremony (8:36 - 9:57).
Gen Z Sentiment: Drawing on recent data from a Gallup poll, the video notes a significant decline in positive sentiment toward AI among Gen Z. Between 2025 and 2026, feelings of excitement and hope have plummeted, while anger and anxiety have risen (10:20 - 11:15).
Active Resistance: The discussion concludes with reports that many young workers are not just skeptical but are actively sabotaging company AI initiatives by refusing to use the tools or by misusing them to protect proprietary data (13:43 - 14:06).
