Critique of Emotional Response: The creator questions the sincerity of Smith's emotions (0:00 - 0:56, 4:20 - 4:25), labeling them as "crocodile tears" and arguing that she is responsible for the very political and economic circumstances she is criticizing.
Policy Discussion: The creator includes audio of Smith expressing frustration with Ottawa regarding pipeline cancellations, emissions caps, and electricity regulations (1:03 - 2:37).
Political Record: The narrator challenges Smith's current positioning by referencing her past actions in the legislature in 2013, claiming she has since harmed trans youth, the disability community, and the education and healthcare systems (2:47 - 3:25).
Referendum Questioning: The creator argues that Smith is responsible for the current political tension and referendum questions in Alberta, suggesting her reaction is a distraction from the consequences of her own administration's policies (3:36 - 3:56, 4:34 - 4:48).

Her entire political platform is based upon umbrage NOT merit.

Less than a month to torpedo smith where air meets water.

Let's hope people against separation show up, because those for it will.

A logistical clusterfuck is exactly what she wants to sow division. If there is no clear winner she can say she weathered the storm of separatism, addressed their concerns and kept Alberta in Canada to negotiate better terms when she was the reason why Alberta is in such dire straits to begin with. The Anti-NDP and Anti-fed vote will rally to her as she is the only game in town.

Newfoundland and Labrador: Restricts US companies from government procurement and has a "Buy Newfoundland" campaign. (0:28 - 0:54)
New Brunswick: Has a formal ban on US goods and services in large procurements, including a mandate for the broader public sector. (1:02 - 1:35)
Prince Edward Island & Nova Scotia: Both have implemented restrictions to prioritize domestic suppliers over American firms. (1:35 - 2:04)
Quebec: Implemented local establishment mandates and price preference margins to favor local content. (2:04 - 2:46)
Ontario: Section 4.3 of their directive maintains specific prohibitions against American entities for public funding. (2:46 - 3:33)
Manitoba: Uses legislative action and specific clauses in requests to limit bidding to Canadian suppliers. (3:33 - 4:03)
Saskatchewan: Previously restricted US companies but has returned to standard processes, though most spending remains local. (4:03 - 4:54)
British Columbia: Enforces strict rules requiring agencies to wind down or avoid contracts with US suppliers unless explicitly approved by the Premier's office. (5:31 - 6:14)
The Outlier:

Alberta: Under Premier Danielle Smith, the province has not banned American companies from procurement, with Smith publicly supporting trade relations with the US to help secure federal trade deals. (4:54 - 5:31, 6:14 - 8:22)
The video concludes with a critique of Danielle Smith's political stance, comparing her rhetoric to American populist styles, and encourages viewers to continue "choosing Canada." (8:22 - 9:21)
