They ran a new watermain through my subdivision and went around connecting homes to it. Watch them do mine & the neighbour's one afternoon and went out early the next morning.
Got back after dinner time and decided to run the dishwasher, went outside to do some gardening in the evening cool.
When I came in it smelt like a herd of elephants farted in my house!
The new line pushed the days old stale water out of the hot water tank... been a while since I'd not run the hot water for a few days. Made me remember why the old lady wouldn't drink town water for 12 years.

My FB feed is nonetheless bombarded with water filter ads to remove flouride of all things, which isn't even there.
Like the town barely has the money to filter out shit, let alone ADD anything to it.
