TLDR US styled politics DOES NOT WORK in Canada. It works with a subset, but they are not big enough to dictate the tempo. For now the dog still wags the tail. If ignored outright it can still be a threat but it can't dominate on its own it needs buy in by stakeholders and that dog don't hunt and the more Trump shows how much of a clown show it is it will only flail around impotently. Not quite a loose cannon yet. Like Alberta pretending to be Ontario everyone can see thru that façade. It isn't Alberta separation that's the issue, it's Alberta conservative separation.
