He has points though. Did Waltz know they would be deployed? Likely. But after 25 years of service, he deserved to retire. Doesn't mean he abandoned his comrades.

He was the CSM for how long? I think he did his time even if he was a weekend warrior. So what if it was a time of war, the US is in a constant state of war. This is quibbling for the sake of quibbling and that only give aid and shelter to bad faith actors. This by no means breaches stolen valor. He just chose to serve his country in congress.

Exactly! He could have retired after 20 years of service, he chose to serve another four years. Then he served his country in Congress. Walz is correct. Trump and Vance know nothing about service. I hope that Harris/Walz prevail in November. We're effed if the Orange turd is elected.
