That's just it. The table is set but the menu is blank ffs. So why are we rushing? I get that there is a crisis but hitting a panic button that isn't connected to anything isn't anything but theatrics. And where the fuck does Ford get off? Hat in hand my ass! Show me the projects! Otherwise you're just grabbing at what isn't yours! It's the greenbelt scandal on a federal level.
Who is rushing??? Who is hitting the "panic button"? The legislation passed before the session dissolves for the summer is not rushing, it is ensuring things can be done or at least started before the next sitting.
Ford, and Carney both have given notice to the indigenous that pipelines, mines, resource development will occur. Indigenous will have to accept and they cannot hold progress hostage as they have in the past. That is a good thing.
This is Canada and it is all Canada and for all Canadians. Indigenous, only 5% of the population, have overused their staus and it is coming to an end. People are tired of the gimme gimme attitude of the indigenous. They are a huge burden to national and provincial budgets and progress. Time to get with the program and pay their way.

It is about time, if this is in fact true, that the indigenous get with the program. I am not so sure Reddit is a reliable, let alone true, source of information
5% of the population (and less than 2% would be actually affected) cannot be allowed to stop progress that affects all Canadians.
All Canadians are subject to expropriation for government purposes...like it or not. The indigenous should not be exempt.

Ha Ha Ha
The entire premise of C-5 is there and even the conservatives agreed and voted for it. They even shook hands with Carney after the vote.
Now, we will see how well Carney handles the 5% of the population that can never get enough
