Russians admit they can't stop Ukraine's advance in the Kupiansk direction, and have no orders from above to attempt to save Kupiansk itself even though several russians are trapped in buildings there.
"Current situation:
Kupyansk - Russian Armed Forces hold positions on the northern outskirts and in the central part of the settlement - semi-isolated or completely isolated.
There is no stable defense or battle order on the left bank.
Kupyansk-Uzlovaya remains under the full control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Several Russian Armed Forces units remain holed up in basements in the northern part of the village."
