Cancer-stricken Simonyan says her child is terminally ill

The Russian propagandist said she learned about the child’s diagnosis 40 days after her husband fell into a coma.

“I don’t want to talk about it. Just so you understand — this doesn’t happen. It’s just a catastrophe,” Simonyan said.

In September 2025, the editor-in-chief of Russia Today was diagnosed with cancer. In the same month, her husband Tigran Keosayan died.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he is not surprised by information leaks from EU meetings to Moscow.
