Maduro was guarded by hundreds of bodyguards — yet the dictator was taken without a single shot being fired
At least, there has been no media reporting of any firefight, which would seem logical in such a situation.
Maduro and his wife were pulled straight out of bed — he didn’t even manage to reach a reinforced bunker, Trump said.
An interesting detail: back in 2019, Reuters reported that Maduro was guarded by Russians. It’s possible the same “specialists” were around this time as well
Ironically, the air defense systems that never fired a shot were also of Russian origin.

Things that happened immediately after Maduro faced mass unrest for refusing to accept his 2018 landslide election loss.
- Called Putin
- Scary Russian nuclear bombers arrived
- Wagner mercenaries arrived
- Central Bank gold given to Russia
- Venezuelan state oil company moved to Moscow
Venezuela became a Russian colony in all but name.
