1) Not a single BC voter whose priority is resource development is going to vote NDP;
2) This is a boost for the Green Party in taking hard left voters from the NDP;
3) For the same reason, it will drive further divisions within the NDP (like DRIPA.) John Horgan once told me he had to manage “two green parties: the actual Green Party, and the greens in my own caucus.”
4) This announcement is yet more evidence to Albertans that Canada is moving ahead with major energy projects. That helps the patriotic side in the October 19 referendum, and that of course is good for BC!
