Haven't built a battleship since 44 and never even questioned why that was.
Trump is Homer:
As a standalone ship this is just a very expensive target that will have lasers that require all power to be shut off in order to fire and rail guns that will need to be replaced every 300 salvos. It will carry nukes which hasn't been an issue for ships at sea since 1990's. Congrats Trump you just recreated the Blücher! An expensive albatross crewed with trainees that will be sunk the moment it is in contact with the enemy.
