🚨 BREAKING: U.S. House passes sweeping “hellish sanctions” bill targeting Russia

The legislation now goes to Donald Trump for his signature — nearly a year and a half after the late Senator Lindsey Graham first introduced the proposal.

The House passed the bill by 262 votes to 159.

The legislation targets Russia’s energy and defense sectors, as well as the country’s “shadow fleet” of tankers used to circumvent existing sanctions.

It is the most significant Ukraine-related legislation passed by Congress since Trump returned to the White House and Republicans took control of both chambers in January 2025.
