TLDR MAGA have badly overplayed their hand and there is now a grass root reaction to the lawlessness that is just getting started. There are so many cracks that the desperation is showing as it is all falling apart. ICE is on the back foot and yes they flooded reinforcements after the shooting but they had to pull that from other operations around the country and they already have a manpower/retention issues let alone training and the more they use an iron fist to keep the people in line the more people learn how to resist and build community of common cause against MAGA. Also the lack of training is showing as there are hundreds of incidents on a daily basis that have done far more damage to MAGA it is an open wound that will never heal.

So MAGA lurches from witch hunt to witch hunt to maintain control of the narrative of control but it is a façade that they can't maintain. It requires CONSTANT movement from one brush fire to the next and those fire are never fully put out and they are only growing in number.
