Knives? I wouldn't trust those buffoons with spoons. What dark horse will challenge him anyway? They are all cowed to his playbook. Sheer is a fucking cop-out, Javani is the young turk that wants to go even harder on the culture war bs. Not to mention none of the old guard under Harper are going to stray off the reservation. The only con that can stand up to pp and tell him to knock it off is Harper and he doesn't hold a seat. The base will not hear anyone else. Not Ford, not Smith. Harper has to publicly repudiate pp to change course and right now I think his plan is to just let him implode and then see who can lead the charge after.

Spot on analysis. Shame the audio was shit. the base needs to commit to what sort of party they want to be. Cos playing as a resistance party or a serious contender for running the country. Even if pp wins they could still sack him. A lame duck with no shot isn't worth the effort. Doubling down on more of the same just compounds losses.
