Chris Hedges responded to Noam Chomsky’s wife’s statement on their prior affiliation with Jeffrey Epstein. He did not hold back…
“I know and have long admired Noam. He is, arguably, our greatest and most principled intellectual. I can assure you he is not as passive or gullible as his wife claims. He knew about Epstein’s abuse of children. They all knew. And like others in the Epstein orbit, he did not care. From the email correspondence between Epstein and Valéria it appears she particularly enjoyed the privileges that came with being in Epstein’s circle, but this does not absolve Noam’s acquiescence. Noam, of all people, knows the predatory nature of the ruling class and the cruelty of capitalists, where the vulnerable, especially girls and women, are commodified as objects to be used and exploited. He was not fooled by Epstein. He was seduced. His association with Epstein is a terrible and, to many, unforgivable stain. It irreparably tarnishes his legacy.”

Representative Becca Balint (D-VT) reviewed unredacted Epstein files at the Department of Justice today and told Drop Site they contradict Trump’s claim that he expelled Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, stating flatly, “That is not true. It’s a lie.”

In July 2025, Trump told reporters about a fallout stemming from Epstein “stealing” and recruiting spa employees from Mar-a-Lago. Trump claimed he warned Epstein to stop and, after Epstein continued, declared him “persona non grata,” citing the case of Virginia Giuffre, who he said was recruited from the Mar-a-Lago locker room at age 17.

MAGA is now using this document to pretend that Trump blew the whistle on Epstein and called Maxwell “evil”.

That’s not what happened. Trump contacted the police only after it had become known to him that Epstein was under investigation. He then admitted that he knew that Epstein and Maxwell were doing horrible things. In other words once he knew his “best friend” was caught he likely wanted to pretend he had no involvement, so he was proactive and contacted the police.

Meanwhile in 2020:

“I just wish Maxwell well, frankly… I’ve met her numerous times over the years… But I wish her well, whatever it is..”

Chappell Roan announces she’s leaving Wasserman, the talent agency led by Casey Wasserman, after his flirtatious emails with Ghislaine Maxwell were unsealed as part of the Epstein files:

“I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well. No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral.”

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna exit after reviewing unredacted Epstein files — both confirm at least 6 men with photographs have been deliberately redacted with no explanation.

Massie: "What I saw that bothered me were the names of at least six men that have been redacted that are likely incriminated by their inclusion in these files. It took some digging to find them."

Khanna: "There are six men, some of them with their photographs, that have been redacted. And there's no explanation why those people were redacted."

A bipartisan bombshell. Both a Republican and a Democrat walked out of that room saying the same thing: names are being hidden.
