I hope there is a comparison between our guy running things and their guy.
Night and day difference.

“Imagine a Prime Minister who walks Canadians through the plan. Here is what we are trying to fix. Here is why this approach makes sense. Here is what success looks like. Here is when you should expect to feel it. Here is what might go wrong.
That kind of transparency does not weaken authority. It builds it. And it’s so different than anything else we’ve seen before.
In my work asking people questions, I see how people respond when leaders explain their thinking in plain language. Even skeptics become more patient and some opponents soften when they feel informed rather than managed. People are far more willing to grant room to manoeuvre when they understand the destination.”

Leadership is not something that comes naturally to some people but the ones that are best at it are methodical and disciplined. When you see it you know and people gravitate towards competence and results. Not bluster and tired empty rituals. When warning orders are issued that are concise, direct and have limited achievable goals and THEN build on the results and see who is good at what and delegate accordingly the whole tenor of conversations change.
It's no longer becomes what can you get out of this or what can you do for me to what can we do to push this venture forward and accelerate the trend.
