No it wouldn't cuz I just went to visit the grandson from Alberta and he brought his step daughter. Told her to say hi to her step-great-grandfather.
I fell positively ancient now.

Funny how the boy's from a rural town 85% Tory and loathes both Danni and PP....

Key government initiatives discussed include:

$200 Billion Pacific Plan: A multi-faceted strategy involving infrastructure projects (ports, tunnels, pipelines) to facilitate trade with overseas markets outside of the U.S. (1:01-3:11).
International Trade Agreements: Efforts to secure trade relationships with Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, China, and Saudi Arabia, ranging from critical mineral supply chains to uranium contracts and agricultural tariff reductions (3:11-6:39).
Defense Strengthening: Reaching the 2% NATO spending target and investing in domestic defense projects, such as the Type 212 CD submarine procurement from Germany and an over-the-horizon radar deal with Australia (6:41-8:23).
European Partnerships: Joining the EU's SAFE defense initiative to increase cooperation and access to European procurement markets (8:23-9:20).
The video concludes by questioning whether the Conservative Party's opposition is based on legitimate policy critique or if it prioritizes political gain over Canada's national economic interests. It calls for national unity and a fact-based approach to governing in a challenging global climate (9:20-11:28).

con's have lulled themselves to sleep with the lie that the west is the US. In so doing they have sold out their own country for favor to people who only see them as useful idiots and traitors who will also be shown the door once their utility has expired. There is no future down that path only indentured servitude.

I’ve been doing polling on politics for 20 years. And I studied elections in graduate school and wrote my phd dissertation on campaigns and candidates.

Unless Alex Lawson raised and spent $400,000 from when he registered to now, there is no way he’s polling at 26% in a city of a million+ people.

Quorus’ polling said the complete opposite and my polling says the complete opposite. Not 2nd, but 4th.

Can’t wait to see the receipts after the election. Cause there’s no evidence there’s much of a ground game.

Campaign Mismanagement: Corey Hogan (referred to as Corey Tanik in transcript) has openly criticized Poilievre's team, labeling their strategy as "campaign malpractice" (2:10 - 3:15).
Personal Animosity: The video highlights a deep-seated feud between Poilievre and Hogan, noting that the Conservative caucus has allegedly spent significant time gossiping about him (3:21 - 3:52).
BC Leadership Spat: Poilievre publicly took a jab at Caroline Elliott during a speech, which the host views as an unprofessional display of internal pettiness (4:11 - 5:55).
Social Media Toxicity: The infighting has spilled onto the internet, where conservative influencers and former staff members are engaging in public, often aggressive, debates regarding loyalty and political experience (8:25 - 12:15, 15:17 - 16:15).
Analytic Perspective:
Gilmore argues that these factions are struggling to present a viable alternative to Mark Carney, suggesting that Poilievre's lack of professional background outside of politics makes him vulnerable to comparisons with more accomplished opponents (13:11 - 15:10).

And why are they turning on each other? Well:

Strategic Context: The Liberal government currently holds a minority status and is teetering near the threshold of losing control of the House of Commons. The Liberals need to secure at least one victory to maintain their position (0:14, 7:46).
Riding Outlook: The ridings of North Vancouver-Capilano and Beaches-East York are considered safe Liberal seats based on previous election results (0:57-1:18). The riding of Chicoutimi, formerly held by the Conservatives, is identified as a competitive battleground where the Bloc Québécois could challenge for the seat (1:26-1:44).
High Approval Ratings: The video highlights that Prime Minister Carney enjoys strong personal popularity, particularly in Quebec, where his approval rating is cited as 76% (3:34, 4:03). This leads to speculation about whether voters might engage in strategic voting to bolster the Liberal majority (1:54, 4:08).
Political Strategy: Despite analysts suggesting that a national election might be a strategic move to capitalize on the current climate and opposition weakness, the video suggests that Prime Minister Carney—characterized as an "anti-politician"—is opting to address vacancies as they arise rather than calling a general election (5:35-6:50).
Future context: The video notes that additional parliamentary vacancies are expected in late August due to planned resignations from members of the Liberal, NDP, and Conservative parties, which may necessitate further by-elections (8:03-8:29).

The libs could sweep all three seats AND the cons will have a miserable 3rd place finish in each race. The stink of loser is overpowering and pp has no one else to blame.

Kory Teneycke on the CPC shadow cabinet shuffle: "A lot of the shadow cabinet before were no names and useless and of low profile, which is exactly what an insecure leader wants to do. Insecure people like to be surrounded by low profile losers. So the bigger the loser you are, the more you want to be surrounded by the losers."

This is how ineptitude compounds.
