Canada now eligible to take part in Eurovision song contest

Canada is now eligible to compete, but CBC has not yet announced whether it will actually send an entry. The earliest likely participation would be Eurovision 2027.

CBC/Radio‑Canada had been an associate member of the EBU since 1950.
Full membership grants eligibility to submit an entry to Eurovision.
