Harvey Weinstein sentenced to 15 years for 2006 sex crime

Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the sexual assault of former TV production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006. His original 2020 conviction was overturned in 2024, and he was again found guilty in a 2025 retrial. The case has spanned more than six years, during which Weinstein has been behind bars.
