Greens are a solid party with a thoughtful platform they just do not have buy in of a majority stakeholders who vote. They set a great example and I would have voted for them had the BC cons not been such an immediate threat to democracy.

Hate to tell you but almost all pseudo-conservatives are convinced Green = "leftists" and therefore would not ever even consider them.
I mean anything they hate is left, whether that's the straw they drink from the terrible chore of having to use 2 garbage cans or the poverty invoking plight of being forced to pay 5c deposit or more on gas. Face it these are the goodie two shoes that won't let them toss beer cans and cigarette butts out the car window without being frowned on.

Not sure who the green party base is TBH. My guess is Sheldon Cooper. I mean look at their platform and their policies. It goes on for pages and pages and in great detail. Far more than any current mainstream party would even dare to put out. However, the people who vote are not into platform they are into vibes and tribes. It's why slogans work and nuanced debate doesn't. They don't want to be told what they can't do and they don't want money and time spent on anything that doesn't help their team. Green party doesn't come off as preachy but altruism isn't in fashion and the people they need to vote for them don't vote anyway.
