Raising taxes and gutting social programs has had it's intended effect. We are now so dependent on the quasi slave labour force, but we can't afford to build them places to live, so we must turn them away.

I hope Trudeau pulls a US style switcheroo. Sabotage the economy so that it collapses on PPs watch. That will be fun.
