Assuming the root cause of rampant populism is corruption then the remedy must be to redoubt institutions and be wary of radical intent. We can't embrace vigilante justice like Luigi Mangione to set right the wrongs but if no plan is manifest, desperation will make such outbursts inevitable.

Trump wants to root out the establishment and create a whole new Elon endorsed framework. To do that he needs to destroy the current establishment. The counter to that is to organize on the local level and not roll over when they make a lot of noise when they don't get everything handed to them.

When decency is labeled as extremism and terrorism is used to gag dissent the only way such tactics can be foiled is when the public fails to comply in advance.

I've given up on US politics. Americans deserve what they get. One term with the orange Hitler wasn't enough?!

Trump is a real menace for Canada in general. We need a PM who will stand up to him. Trump hates Freeland because she beat him during the trade talks in his first term. I have no idea what Justin and Jagmeet will do in the coming weeks. I think Freeland would be a good choice for PM. Interesting days ahead.

We have Kamla/Kim Campbell 2.0 if we get Freeland. Doomed to fail and it will be a flop so hard it will take down the NDP as well. There are no moves left to make, JT made sure of that.
