For some reason the idea that the country should be run like a business. They don't stop to think about the reasons. Corporations purpose is to sell product for maximum profit of their shareholders. They think they are the shareholders in that situation, but they are actually the product. The oligarchs are the shareholders. Elon didn't spend $200m on a POTUS without the promise of profit. And he's willing to defund veterans, retired people, schools, hospitals and health insurance to maximize that profit.

That govt should be run like a business is the lie conservatives have been peddling for decades now.
Govt should be run like a CoOp, to maximize the results for the benefits of members, not to profit.
