How's about something fairly ACTUAL COMMON SENSE
Compile a list of all precursor drugs and needed lab equipment on a database and make sellers enter sales and buyer IDs.
Hire some geek that can make one when 2 or more are ordered by the same entity and sends that immediately to the RCMP.
So no one has to get off their ass or spend 40 hrs a week hunting the database themselves.

Thats already done. But some of the precursor chemicals can also be easily made from chemicals that aren't monitored, and have many other legitimate uses.

In spite of ZERO seizures of fentanyl being seized coming from Canada since the first mention of this 'problem' by the Mango Mussolini, he continues to spout the message daily, ignore all step-up efforts gone by Canada and use this as the basis for his endless threat of tariffs. Tack on there have been during the same time several large seizures of drugs coming in the other way - to Canada.
