Regulation capture is where the industry regulates itself by controlling the regulators. Alberta Oil and Gas controls the government and the Saudi's and Russians are pumping like there is no tomorrow. They are in full blown panic as prices nosedive.

I wrote before that they budgeted provincial finances based on oil prices that we haven't seen in a decade.

Now we ride the oil rollercoaster.
