CTV, Global and most other news organizations are owned by US hedge funds. That's why they tow the hard right line.

People know climate change is a thing. The more CTV and others try to play it down, the more people see through them.

A lack of points of reference means that over time the public opinion, starved of relevance context, will move on and with only talking points approved by US hedge funds allowed airtime, will bend the narrative to best couch their point of view. Manufactured consent made manifest.
