Unlimited power with no oversight. Seems legit. TLDR Ready, fire, aim!

"Bill C-5 does two key things, it removes interprovincial trade barriers but also creates the government's ability to fast-track large-scale infrastructure and energy projects—such as mines, pipelines, ports, highways, and nuclear facilities"
The indigenous are just pissed because they lost some of their power to stop major projects.
It is good for Canada and less than 5% of the population have had too much to say for a long time. It is time to rein in their power.

As someone who was shot at guarding General de Chastelain house during the Oka crisis I can assure you that treading lightly is wise.
At NO POINT are they insisting on a veto, rather they are insisting that our democratic intuition's and values be adhered to. Laws are in place for a reason only tyrants run roughshod over the concerns of its citizens.
Including them at the ground level not asking for forgiveness after the fact is the way to go. The courts have already sided with them and if this is rammed through then appeal courts will be inevitable and expensive. If that is ignored as well the insurrection would be next.

Much as some people would like it to nothing can be forced through land that is a Band territory and even if it's claimed will be fought tooth and nail without their consent.
If that's too much power for your liking, move somewhere no one has Constitutional rights.
No pipelines will be built on 'the orders' of someone.
Nobody's proposing building one, and you're ready to bend your knee to Danielle Smith over a pipe dream?

That's just it. The table is set but the menu is blank ffs. So why are we rushing? I get that there is a crisis but hitting a panic button that isn't connected to anything isn't anything but theatrics. And where the fuck does Ford get off? Hat in hand my ass! Show me the projects! Otherwise you're just grabbing at what isn't yours! It's the greenbelt scandal on a federal level.
