Britain fell for this foolishness under brexit and that ruined them and they are still going back for 2nds. France is following the same path under Le Pen. Russia and the US are funding these fools and their resentment of the centre as a means to wedge the destruction of the EU and once that falls nothing will be left to stop them.

Alice Weidel’s grandfather, Hans Weidel, was not simply “a German who lived during the Nazi era.” He joined the Nazi Party in 1932, joined the SS in 1933, and later became a Wehrmacht military judge. From 1941, he served as a military judge in Nazi occupied Warsaw, and by 1944 he had been promoted to Oberstabsrichter, a senior military judicial position.

That matters because Nazi military justice was not some ordinary court system operating in unfortunate circumstances. It was part of the machinery of the dictatorship. Nazi military courts issued tens of thousands of death sentences, and more than 20,000 were carried out.
