This was never legal but that was never the point. It's a smash and grab and now that it is halted that money is NEVER going back. Now that it has been shown effective and he knows there is no enforcement he will do this again and again and why shouldn't he?

He is angry and going on a tirade like a bull in a china shop and no one is going to be there to clean up the mess. He has declared war on his own country and is looting the corpse.

BREAKING: After the Supreme Court blocked Trump’s ILLEGAL tax on Americans, he has just implemented another temporary increase and likely illegal Tax on Americans of 15%.

Meanwhile his voters cheer that they get to get illegally taxed again.

Trump is using Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 which gives the President authority to impose temporary import restrictions to address serious U.S. balance-of-payments problems or a large trade deficit. This appears unconstitutional.

Section 122 was meant for temporary balance-of-payments stabilization.

- If there is no genuine BOP crisis, using it for broad trade restructuring exceeds that principle.

- A blanket 15% tariff on every country looks like economic policymaking, not temporary stabilization.
