16 countries and the EU have now refused to participate in the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics-2026 at the official level

Austria, Australia, Canada, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the United Kingdom, and the EU joined Ukraine in this important, values-based decision.

Thank you for your solidarity! The Paralympic Games are not a place for Russian and Belarusian blood-stained flags.

Ukrainian officials will not attend the Opening Ceremony or other official Paralympic events. Suspilne, Ukraine’s public broadcaster, will not broadcast the Paralympics Opening Ceremony.
