Not a big deal. Hoped it would be Heather McPherson, but Lewis is fine.

However, the things he said about the Alberta NDP during the election makes me hesitant.

Lotta hope behind this. This it is going to rot on the vine IMHO. The base it radioactive to the greater voting public. A muscle needs daily maintenance to developed and consistent and controlled resistance to build strength and cohesion. Same with political movements and the rank and file dippers are there fore the memes but they have yet to show they are there for the long haul. Hard core scocialism is indeed the counter to the robber baron present but it needs to be focused and I have my doubts that the NDP are able to call their shots to pick their fights they can win. One can hope they are up to the task though but the road will be long.
