The russian cargo ship ABINSK received permission to enter the port of Haifa with a load of more than 43.7 thousand tons of wheat.

The ship was loaded at the anchorage of the port of Kavkaz, where the grain was delivered from occupied Ukrainian ports.

BREAKING: The temporary easing of sanctions on Russian oil has ended this weekend, and the U.S. has decided not to extend it. Treasury Secretary Bessent informed Congress that Washington continues to enforce the sanctions authorities introduced in 2021.

Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine will jointly produce air defense systems with Germany. This will be the largest deal of its kind in Europe.

Ukraine and Germany have signed a number of agreements, including in the defense sector.

Germany will also provide a new aid package — air defense systems, drones, and ammunition.

In addition, Friedrich Merz said Berlin will help facilitate the return of Ukrainian men of conscription age.

According to Bloomberg, blocking measures and attempts to limit VPN access have caused discontent even within the government.

Some officials warn about risks to the economy and politics and are urging not to go too far.

Against this backdrop, Putin’s ratings have dropped. The official approval level has fallen to 67.8% — the lowest since the start of the war — while real trust levels, based on open polls, have dropped below 30%.

Internet restrictions have already become an issue ahead of the State Duma elections. Residents of large cities — the more active and affluent part of society — are especially frustrated.

As a result, the Kremlin may backtrack and partially roll back the harsh restrictions to reduce public discontent.
