ZELENSKYY: We will not sell our weapons like we did in the 1990s. Instead, we will share our knowledge and expertise in exchange for long-term, mutually beneficial security partnerships with Ukraine.

“We're building new partnerships on weapons differently than in the nineties or two thousands, when Ukrainian weapons and forces were sold off like it's Black Friday. We're not holding a fire sale of our weapons or emptying our warehouses. We're offering a security partnership that's long-term and profitable for Ukraine” - Zelenskyy’s address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex. April 13th, 2026.

Fuck sake 🇮🇱 Israel 🤬

Why would you accept a russian ship with stolen Ukrainian grain from temporarily occupied territories.

The russian cargo ship ABINSK received permission to enter the port of Haifa with a load of more than 43.7 thousand tons of wheat.

The ship was loaded at the anchorage of the port of Kavkaz, where the grain was delivered from occupied Ukrainian ports.

‼️⚡️ BREAKING: The temporary easing of sanctions on Russian oil has ended this weekend, and the U.S. has decided not to extend it. Treasury Secretary Bessent informed Congress that Washington continues to enforce the sanctions authorities introduced in 2021.

In short: U.S. sanctions on Russia remain in place and are being reaffirmed after a brief pause.

NOTE: I bet they saw that Ukraine will destroy russian refineries in any case, so why even try.

Merz: We are elevating our bilateral relations with Ukraine to the level of a strategic partnership

Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine will jointly produce air defense systems with Germany. This will be the largest deal of its kind in Europe.

Ukraine and Germany have signed a number of agreements, including in the defense sector.

Germany will also provide a new aid package — air defense systems, drones, and ammunition.

In addition, Friedrich Merz said Berlin will help facilitate the return of Ukrainian men of conscription age.

Merz believes such individuals should be in Ukraine helping their country.

The Kremlin is concerned about Putin’s falling approval ratings. Officials say the decline is linked to internet restrictions

According to Bloomberg, blocking measures and attempts to limit VPN access have caused discontent even within the government.

Some officials warn about risks to the economy and politics and are urging not to go too far.

Against this backdrop, Putin’s ratings have dropped. The official approval level has fallen to 67.8% — the lowest since the start of the war — while real trust levels, based on open polls, have dropped below 30%.

Internet restrictions have already become an issue ahead of the State Duma elections. Residents of large cities — the more active and affluent part of society — are especially frustrated.

As a result, the Kremlin may backtrack and partially roll back the harsh restrictions to reduce public discontent.
