No. the Dr is a real person that's beaten me to the punch at posting the same damn links for years and years.

Most often these guys can speak things you agree with or wish to discuss in a way superior to posting text. He does reply to actual discussion on the subjects posted.

While I don't agree 100% of the time with Steve Boots, he is a refreshing taste of non-right-wing opinion and an example of a true Canadian. You can go to any other forum and see nothing but bitching and negativism about anything to do with Canada or the Liberal or New Democratic parties, Steve gives them credit where credit is due and criticism where that is due. In a logical manner. And is not ashamed to show the good things about life here.

The alarmists will never acknowledge most of us are like me. Sure things cost more, but I'm content to not live in Vancouver, to drive a Jeep not a GWagon and an old Saturn instead of a BMW, the fridge is full, the mortgage is paid off and heat is on in the winter. After running a business for 35 years, I don't consider my life a failure because I'm not Bill Gates, Musk or Bezos rich. Retired and old enough to know when something's broke you fix it, not smash it and hope you're handed something better, and that fixing shit takes time.
