I looked at the major vehicle brands line ups. They are just basically SUVs, trucks and vans. Ford only sells one car, the Mustang.
None of the big 3 makes a city car. Even Subaru is making the STI in electric only.

Looked at a Kia plugin, $39000 and they promised to find a $2500 discount.... trading in the Wrangler that would be affordable.
