The story out of Vancouver is that their police force reported year old stats to the media, knowing full well the incidents of stranger attacks (that they were quoting old figures) was rapidly falling.
During the 2022 Civic election they reported the figures over and over again. Then they threw the Police support behind Ken Sim, who promised to hire 100 more officers in a public announcement.

It took CTV years for a Freedom of Information Act request to clear and clearly spells out election interference at the civic level. (look it up yourself).
So the lies and manipulation start even at the bottom in politics.

What really gets m gpat about PP (For Piss Poor if you like) is the constant negativism and Wendy Whiner approach to everything. Canada is no weak, Canada is not fucked, and we sure as hell aren't doomed. If you see a problem you try to fix it, not whine that the other guy isn't doing it for you or your way.
