B.C Conservatives slammed for debate hosted by media group that promotes 'white supremacist views'

The NDP’s statements — as reported — argue that:

Juno News has published and promoted the views of Daniel Tyrie, founder of The Dominion Society, whose positions former Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has publicly called racist.

The Dominion Society’s stated goals include “remigration” and mass deportation of millions of people, including Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

Tyrie has described “visible minorities” in Surrey as a “problem” and argued Canada should remain a “White majority country.”

Premier Eby is quoted as saying he is “incredibly disappointed” that the Conservatives chose to partner with a “far-right-wing news outlet that promotes white supremacy.”

All the candidates were pro nothern pipeline and for ending the tanker ban. Three of them expressed their ignorance between BC (Cdn) waters and international waters stating American tankers already use it. All of them were for ripping up DRIPA and fostering decdes of protests and court rulings rather than engage in negotiation.
ALL belittled anything but the expansion of raw resource expansion.
The only vision offered by any was that of a rear view mirror.

I would add that nearly half of the population that bothers to vote are inclined to support them while the NDP under Eby is looking like a deer in headlights while a third of his party are dead set against any change and a third are for repealing DRIPA outright and the rest are dithering between the two.

The public has a choice between a stalemated NDP and the dumpster fire that is the cons and they are tilting towards the flames.
