At least 34 officers from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) are refusing to conduct patrols on and off the water in Nova Scotia. They say violent disputes in the province's fishing industry are making it too dangerous to enforce regulations. As Heidi Petracek explains, industry members are calling on Ottawa to get a grip on the situation.

Kind of like the Fisheries guys sitting in the parking lot on the rez recording the license plated of people who buy salmon from the natives at their roadside booth. Never gonna do anything about it.
